Car hire pricing is based on a daily rate with discounted prices for multiple days hire.

The hire fee includes fully comprehensive insurance, unlimited mileage and AA roadside assist.

Payment methods

Payments may be made by credit card, debit card or laser but all hire agreements must be secured by a CREDIT CARD ONLY. ( ie security deposit - see terms and conditions)

Gift Vouchers

A gift voucher for a day or longer in an old classic could be the perfect gift for an anniversary, a birthday, father’s day, a retirement or a host of other special occasions.

Gift vouchers are presented on high quality colour card which make them an ideal gift.

Vouchers are available for a car of your choice and are valid for twelve months, subject to availability and the hirer fulfilling the criteria laid out in the terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions

All drivers must be between 25 and 75 years of age and have held a full drivers license for two years.

Persons who have been convicted of a driving offence, have had more than one accident in the past three years or have more than four penalty points imposed will be excluded as will persons who have had insurance declined or a renewal refused as a result of claims history.

Persons with any mental or physical disability will be declined as will persons involved in the entertainment business, jockeys and persons connected with any form of racing.

The hire fee includes fully comprehensive insurance and unlimited mileage.

You will be required to sign a vehicle condition report along with the owner to confirm the condition of the bodywork and interior before you take charge of the car. Upon return an inspection must confirm there has been no damage. Any damage will be covered by the security deposit.

 You will also be required to complete a rental agreement for insurance purposes.

You must provide proof of identity e.g. a photographic license or passport and proof of you’re permanent address e.g. a recent utility bill for photocopying.

A security deposit of €600 euro will be required on the day of hire. This will only be used in the event of accidental damage that will not be covered by the insurance. This must be a credit card (not debit or laser card) transaction that may also be used to cover the excess of €600 in the event of accidental damage.

A 20% deposit must be paid upon booking. This is non refundable in the event of cancellation. The balance must be paid on the day of hire and secured by credit card.

Gift vouchers are non refundable and are subject to the terms and conditions of hire and of cancellation

Should we be unable to provide the chosen car the client will be contacted and offered another car, an alternative date or offered a refund.

All cars are supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned the same way, otherwise the cost of the refill and a surcharge of €20 will apply. The hirer is responsible for any damage caused as a result of using the wrong fuel.

If the car is hired for more than one day it is the hirers’ responsibility to check for oil and water…these are old cars!

Personal belongings must never be left tin the car. Soft tops and convertibles are vulnerable and the owner is not responsible for any losses.

In the event of a breakdown the AA will endeavour to get to the car as soon as is possible but the hirer must stay with the car at all times. It must be understood that while the cars are serviced and maintained to the highest standards, classics of this era don’t have the same level of reliability as modern cars. The hirer must be aware of this before they make their booking.

A daily rental period starts at 9.00 and finishes at 20.00. Multiple days start at 9.00 and finish at 20.00 on the last day of hire.

Nobody must be allowed to work on the car without the owners consent. In the event of a fault the owner must be contacted.

On the morning of hire there will be a short briefing to familiarise the hirer with the car and make them aware that cars of this era don’t have the same standard of brake and performance as other modern cars. Hirers are expected to understand the restricted dimensions of some of these cars and of course… to wear sensible shoes.

At the end of hire all keys maps, itineraries and sundry items provided must be returned.
